OpenSidebar Goals
OpenSidebar ultimatly aims to fulfil a range of function. At the most basic level it will provide a simple attractive sidebar, able to sit at a side of the screen, featuring a simple autohide facility, basic plugin support, i.e. gadget/desklet/widget docking.
Opensidebar is in it preliminary planning stage and my hope at the moment is to throw some ideas around and make some decisions about the best way to go about designing building and integrating open sidebar into the uses experinence.
I am keen for other to get involved and join in the development process for a tool we can all benefit from.
